ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Two Rockville parents were charged Friday afternoon with multiple offenses, including child abuse and neglect, in connection to the death of their 10-week-old daughter.
According to Montgomery County police, Robert Alan Davidson and Lorena Thompson, both of the 200 block of East Argyle Street in Rockville, face charges in the homicide death of their daughter Aleah Thompson in June.
On June 23 at about 7:18 p.m., police say Davidson called 911 to report that Aleah Thompson was unresponsive and not breathing. She was flown to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she succumbed to her injuries on June 26.
The Chief Medical Examiner in D.C. ruled Aleah Thompson's death a homicide caused by multiple blunt force injuries.
