Community Event Fights Crime In Md. | Community Spirit

Neighborhoods, businesses, civic groups, and law enforcement officials are gearing up for the 29th annual National Night Out in Rockville, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.

The annual block party helps to fight against crime and consists of a cookout, visits from the Rockville City Police and McGruff the Crime Dog, as well as flashlight walks, and youth programs.

This year's event is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 7th.
