Join WUSA-TV & Walk To End Breast Cancer

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We all have been touched by this disease indirectly or directly including JC Hayward, and it's for this reason that WUSA-TV and JCHAYWARD.COM wants to make a difference in the community by walking towards a cure.

WUSA-TV will be walking and raising money in October for our local American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, which takes place on Saturday, October 20 at 10 a.m. at the National Sylvan Theater on the National Mall in D.C.

Walk to honor breast cancer survivors and remember our loved ones who lost their battle.

D.C. Fashion Week Showcases International Fashions and an upbeat Washington

When you think of fashion week you think New York or Milan.  While New York is undoubtedly an epicenter of fashion, Washington has its own distinct style and its fashion week features international designs from all over the world.

“In terms of functional clothing, Washingtonians stick to a work uniform,” says Ean Williams, founder and organizer of DC Fashion Week, now in its ninth year. “That’s what the world sees. They only see us at work. We’re making policy that changes the world. But go to any happy hour and watch how people change their wardrobe at the bars.”
