The City of Rockville has been named one of the regions healthiest employers for its workplace wellness program, LiveWell.
The Washington Business Journal's "Top 50 Healthiest Employers" added the City of Rockville for the second year in a row. Every year, the newspaper selects the top 50 healthiest employers in the Greater Washington area to receive the award, which recognizes companies for their workplace wellness programs and wellness strategies.
"We are honored to have received this prestigious award," said Hillary Hurlbutt, employee health and wellness manager. "The City is serious about improving the health of its employees. When employees are happy and healthy, they are better able to serve our citizens."
On Thursday, Sept. 20, The Washington Business Journal will reveal all 50 companies. Each will be profiled in a special supplement of the Washington Business Journal.
