The Fresh Market expanded its Maryland presence by opening their first store in Montgomery County. This specialty grocer features fresh meats and fish, a deli, a nice mix of conventional and organic fruits and vegetables, over 300 varieties of cheese cut on site, beautiful flowers, a large assortment of candies, salad bar, prepared foods, freshly roasted coffee in bins, and much more in a friendly and accommodating atmosphere.
The Rockville Fresh Market is one of the largest sitting on 26,000 square feet in a beautiful space situated off Rockville Pike in Congressional Plaza. It boasts the first-ever hot bar for Fresh Market guests interested in a healthy and quick meal, as well as a café to enjoy your meal on site.
“It’s all about quality products, convenience and providing a great experience for our customers time and time again. We are excited to be here and look forward to being a successful part of the Rockville area,” explained The Fresh Market Store Manager Nick Colangelo.
This neighborhood market offers daily samples including their freshly brewed medium roast coffee. They also feature a “do it yourself” component with a machine that grinds dry roasted peanuts to make fresh peanut butter. Both the coffee and dry roasted peanut butter are outstanding.
Additionally, they have an extensive Valentines Day candy and goodies selection as well as bright colored roses for $6.99- just in case you are looking to surprise a special someone this February.
With a focus on freshness and quality perishables, the opening of the Fresh Market in Rockville marks their 113th store in the Southeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, with plans for continued expansion across the country.
Other Fresh Markets in the area are located in Baltimore, Md., Towson, Md., and Vienna, VA.
